Colombia continues to act as the source for the majority of the cocaine seized domestically. According to DEA’s CSP, preliminary analysis indicates in 2016, approximately 92 percent of cocaine samples seized in the continental United States were of Colombian origin, six percent were of Peruvian origin, and two percent were of unknown origin.
